Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees Hotel Hong Kong, Hong Kong

The hotel rooms were of average size and functionality. The Club Lounge was closed during our stay, so paying extra for Club Rooms didn't seem worth it; we only received breakfast. I wouldn't recommend the Club Rooms solely for this reason.

The hotel offers rooms that overlook the main street, which have a modern design. However, families with little kids should be cautious due to safety concerns with glass railings and slippery stairs. The service at the restaurant was satisfactory but could improve in terms of friendliness and respect for privacy. The location, while not ideal for sightseeing, is within a residential area. The dining experience was decent, served in a lovely environment with a good variety of options. Overall, the facilities were adequate, though some areas need better maintenance.

The hotel offers rooms exactly as requested, ensuring a good size by Hong Kong standards. The friendly service is highly accommodating, though there is room for improvement to enhance professionalism. While the location may require a shuttle to reach the nearest MRT station, it proves useful with a free courtesy bus to Tsim Sha Tsui. The dining experience varies from repetitive and limited choices for dietary restrictions to a rich variety of western, Asian, and Indian selections.

The hotel offers good value for money with spacious rooms equipped with a fridge & microwave, though the wifi can be inconsistent. While the service was mostly impressive, a senior manager made the checkout process less smooth. The location is convenient with nearby restaurants, but a bit far from major tourist attractions. Dining options are varied and delicious, especially the omelet station. Overall, a decent choice for a reasonable price.

The hotel's rooms, though among the smallest I've stayed in with limited space, were surprisingly spacious enough and comfortable. The bathrooms were functional with all required facilities like fast WiFi, towels, footwear, refrigerator, hairdryer, and dental kit. While small by North American standards, they were adequate. The service, including concierge and free shuttle bus, was a bit lacking as the bathrooms need a makeover, and some staff couldn't speak English well. However, they went out of their way to accommodate our requests and were extremely helpful. The location, while in a good area and near the market and supermarket, was a little bit offside from central Hong Kong and not close to an MTR station, which made it necessary to study the bus timetables. The dining experience was already good, offering everything you would expect and including a chef at an egg station making delicious omelettes. The hotel facilities were sufficient to meet our needs during the stay.
